“Samir Kumar, a renowned educator, career counselor, and motivator, is the founder of DIGHT Foundation and DIGHT School of Banking in Assam. With an impressive academic background, he commenced his teaching journey in 1999 as a mathematics, reasoning, and general studies instructor. He graduated with a commerce degree in 2005. Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors, he had a distinguished career in the public sector, securing prestigious positions such as: - CRPF (AIR 14th) in 2006 - EPFO-SSA (2nd State Rank, General Category) in 2009 - Probationary Officer at Bank of India, Vijaya Bank, and United Bank of India (AIR 11th) in 2011 In 2015, he resigned as a Branch Manager to focus on his entrepreneurial ventures. Throughout his 23-year teaching tenure, Mr. Kumar has empowered thousands of students to secure employment in various sectors, including banking, railways, insurance, and central and state government agencies. A well-known quizmaster in Assam and Bihar, Mr. Kumar is passionate about teaching and has set a state record (as per the Assam Records Book, 2021) by conducting marathon classes lasting 14 hours and 20 hours for Assam government job aspirants.”
